The Chicago-based Mesenet Maternity Fund was founded in 2020 as a way to support at-need parents in assuring the safe delivery of their children. It was born as direct response to the onset of COVID-19 and the need to sponsor the home birth needs of parents who cannot afford birthworker and doula services.

During these very critical times, your support is essential. Your contribution assures that vulnerable populations receive the essential care they need to safely deliver their child, one family at a time. It costs each family approximately $1,200 to ensure personalized traditional birthworker services, and this includes two prenatal visits, labor and birthing support, and materials. This is a good karma opportunity. With your help, together we help between one and five families every month.
